Meet Our Exceptional Staff

Colleen Breen

Dance
Colleen is a fun loving person who loves working with children and sharing her passion of dance with others. She has 10 years of training in dance forms of Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical/Contemporary, Tap and has recently started training in Modern. During those 10 years she danced as a competitive dancer on a competition team with a studio and high school dance team in local and regional competitions. She was a part of an award winning studio in St. Louis, Missouri were her studio held several overall and national titles. Colleen has also participated in several dance conventions consecutively including New York City Dance Alliance, JUMP and Hollywood Connection. She has also performed as a guest dancer at Harrah’s Casino in St. Louis and is working towards performing professionally more in the future. Colleen has been teaching for the past 4 years and working as a teacher, choreographer and co director of productions at her previous dance studio. She is still continuing her dance education and working towards her BFA in Dance Performance at East Carolina University School of Theater and Dance in areas of Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary and Modern. Colleen is very excited to be a new part of CC Dance and looks forward to the many great things to come!

Kayleigh Jewel

Dance
Kayleigh began dancing at the age of 3 in Guantanamo Bay, Cuban and has been dancing competitively since the age of 6. She is currently on a senior competitive team and a member of Dance Theatre of Jacksonville’s Ballet Company. This year she will be the assistant director for Jacksonville's Performance of the Nut Cracker Ballet. She has received many awards and scholarships including Next Talent Generation in Baton Rouge Louisiana, and Dupree dance in Chicago, Illinois. Kayleigh has been an assistant teacher for 4 years and continues to train a minimum of 3hrs a day. She will begin her collegiate education in dance at ECU next Fall.
