CC DANCE is a non-competitive studio.
We foster creativity and self expression through the arts.

The reward of dance is an internal joy! We are here to support the joy and love of dance! We will foster this internal reward and not stifle it by rewarding the children with stickers or candy!

CC DANCE Trophies are given to students who have been with the studio
at through their 5 year and 10 year marks.

Performances

We share our dance with many civic functions for our town of Richlands such as Museum Fest and Farmer's Day!We take the children on a Nursing Home tour during the Holidays. We have a float and a performance at the Richlands Holiday Parade. We perform at Fun Fest in New Bern and at many functions held in downtown Jacksonville such as Downtown Alive. Our summer Camps perform for family and friends.

Students are encouraged to travel to dance workshops in Greenville, Myrtle Beach and Raleigh.

Recital
Richlands High School
Saturday, June 28, 2008 at 3pm.

Rehearsal —will be a run-through not in costume, Saturday, June 28, at 9AM

Pictures
Picture will be taken at the studio June 17 & June 19 during evening class times. Children will come to class in full costume.
The children can practice their dance in costume.

Holidays
We follow the Onslow County School Calendar and Cancellation Policies
No School = No Dance

All Holidays, Onslow County Teacher Work Days and Five Week Months are figured into tuition costs. Please understand that monthly payments are for your convenience.
We cannot pro-rate for these dates.

Make-up Classes--We will hold make-ups only for teacher absences.

Cancellation & Refund
Pro-rated refunds given only to paid in full students that give
a two-week notice.
Please try to give a two-week notice when your child must stop attending classes. Tuition will be charged unless notified in writing.
We strive for open dialogue between parents and CC Dance staff.
Our dance instructors do not set policy.
Please feel open to discuss any problems by calling the office 324-4220.
There may be a solution.

AttenDANCE
Failure to attend class regardless of payment, may jeopardize your child's growth in dance, which does not help with their feelings of success. It also jeopardizes the recital performance for all the children in the class.
More than 10 absenses will result in a reveiw by teachers and the director. With this many absenses your child may be asked to participate in the recital in a non-performance capacity. Please AttenDANCE!

Scholarships

CC DANCE continues to offer classes at the lowest possible tuition cost. This is still too much for some families. We try to always offer assistance when asked. If you feel led to offer financial assistance to families that cannot meet tuition costs please ask about our scholarship fund.

Recycle there is no charge! We recycle dance shoes, leotards & tights.
If you need anything, check the bins. If you have extras, please donate!

Dance Room Policies

1. If you are more than 10 minutes late, You are too late.
Please do not interrupt the class in session.

2. Parents are not to interrupt/interact with students during class time. (over three yrs old.)

3. ALL STUDENTS MUST WEAR PROPER DANCE ATTIRE
-students dropped off in jeans can not participate in class

4. All students should bring a water bottle to every class.

5. Walkers from Richlands Elementary should dress for inclement weather.
We walk rain or shine.

6. LONG HAIR MUST BE UP

7. No gum or candy
